Martini

The Legend of the Classic Martini

Saying the words “Classic Martini” sounds a bit redundant, doesn’t it? This is it folks, the grandaddy of cocktails, the original Martini Cocktail (let’s just call it a Martini). It is elegant and stylish, but not overstated. It’s the drink of secret agents, movie stars and the local neighborhood gin-mill. It knows no class discrimination and always seems to be the right choice on any occasion.

Origin (disputed)

Good luck with this one! This is a classic cocktail that has stood the test of time. Although the origins of this concoction is unknown, it has endured in its ascendancy on the barroom menu due to being easy to sip and simply sophisticated. Elegant for the fancy and boozy for the heavy-handed, this potation is truly the everyman’s cocktail.
